Cookie Policy

We strive to keep Zora as lightweight and unintrusive as possible. This Cookie Policy explains how and why we use cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our application.

1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you interact with it.

2. The Cookies We Use

We only use cookies that are absolutely essential for the basic functioning of Zora. We do not use aggressive third-party marketing cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.

  • Authentication Cookies: These are required to keep you securely logged in to your Zora workspace and to verify your identity when you access your projects.
  • Preferences (Local Storage): We use local storage in your browser to remember UI states, such as your selected theme (dark/light) or panel configurations in the editor.
  • Security Tokens: CSRF tokens and other security measures to prevent malicious attacks against your account.

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate with a few third-party services that may set their own cookies, exclusively for operational purposes:

  • Stripe: Strictly for secure payment processing and subscription management.
  • Firebase/Auth: For securely managing user authentication states.

4. Managing Your Cookies

Most modern browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. However, please note that because we only use essential cookies, disabling them will likely break authentication and prevent you from using the Zora editor.
