At Zora, we believe in building tools that respect your privacy. As developers ourselves, we've designed Zora to collect only what is strictly necessary to make the app work and improve our rendering infrastructure. We do not sell your personal data.
1. What We Collect
- Account Information: Basic details needed for authentication and billing (e.g., email address, subscription tier).
- Video Files: The media you upload to edit. These are stored securely to allow you to edit your projects and are deleted according to your subscription tier's retention policy.
- Render Telemetry: Anonymous, aggregated data about render times, error rates, export formats, and hardware cluster performance. We use this exclusively to optimize our cloud infrastructure and improve rendering speeds.
2. What We Don't Do
- We do not train our AI models on your private VODs or shorts without explicit opt-in.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or media files to third-party data brokers or advertisers.
- We do not track your browsing activity across other websites.
3. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data both in transit and at rest. Access to backend databases is strictly limited to authorized engineering personnel for maintenance and debugging purposes only.
4. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can manage most of these settings directly from your account dashboard or by contacting support.
